Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights. It is written in accordance with New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.

Account information: your name and email address, collected through the sign-in service.

Divination content: the question you enter, the cast results, the casting time, and your follow-up questions and answers.

Payment information: order and payment status records (processed via Stripe). We do not collect or store card numbers.

Technical information: language preference (stored in a cookie).

To generate readings and follow-up answers; to keep follow-up context coherent; to compute free quota; to process payments and refunds; to improve service quality.

AI provider: the question text you enter and the hexagram data are sent to a third-party large language model provider (Anthropic) to generate the interpretation. Please do not enter sensitive personal information you wish to keep confidential in your question (such as ID numbers or your exact home address).

Payment provider Stripe: used for payment processing and refunds; its own privacy policy governs its processing.

Except as described above or where the law requires, we do not sell your personal information or disclose it to any other third party.

Divination records are kept until you request deletion; unpaid drafts are purged automatically after 24 hours.

Data is stored on servers managed by the operator, protected by access controls and encrypted connections.

We use only session cookies to keep you signed in and a language-preference cookie; no advertising or tracking cookies.

Under New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 you may access, correct or delete your personal information. Email [email protected] and we will process your request within a reasonable period as required by law.

This policy may be updated from time to time and takes effect when published on the page.
